Celebrate the charm and character of historic downtown Sykesville with this limited-edition boxed set of 10 blank notecards, each featuring a different original painting of Main Street by local artist Tom Cantwell.

If you’ve strolled through downtown, you’ve likely seen Matt creating these beautiful works from the patio at The Vine on Main, capturing the architecture, businesses, and everyday moments that make Sykesville so special.

This collection is also one of several commemorative projects created by the Downtown Sykesville Connection (DSC) to celebrate Sykesville being named the 2026 Great American Main Street Award winner. Designed to honor this historic achievement, the collection captures the beauty, creativity, and sense of place that make our downtown nationally recognized.

This collection was thoughtfully designed by the DSC Design Committee and proudly printed locally by Shannon Baum Signs, making it a truly homegrown collaboration.

The project was made possible through the generous support of the Carroll County Arts Council FY26, helping transform local artwork into a keepsake that celebrates our award-winning Main Street.

Even better, 50% of every purchase goes directly to artist Tom Cantwell, supporting his continued work and investment in our local arts community.

Only 100 boxed sets have been produced, making this a special collector’s item for residents, visitors, and anyone who loves Sykesville.
